After a year of rumination, inner and outer inquiry, I’ve renamed the Grief Circle. It is now called the Black Mountain Healing Circle; the website remains the same, griefcircle.net
Many reasons for the change, overarching among them is the conviction that most folks don’t understand that grief is a portal. A threshold. What you do with it matters a lot. And you must start by building a great tool box and making your own tools that go in it. As Martin Prechtel says, grief is active, not passive.
Another plan I’ve held in prayer that is coming to fruition is a weekend healing retreat called The Transformative Power of Grief. It is going to focus on getting grief out of the body.
